We are a small startup with each founder taking on multiple roles in the company. I started developing with Scrum early on and moved all my projects to two week sprints with the basic backlog revew, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective and daily standup model. With a little encouragement we institued sprints across all “departments” in our company; finance, product development, biz dev, marketing, etc. Its been a great device for managing and maximizing effort, providing strategy transparency and keeping us more sane.
